It's that time of year again! Summer time! When ever June rolls around, I find myself starting to be inspired by fun colorful things, especially fruit! Last summer I started a project for a summer wedding shoot that was a mix between retro, whimsical and a touch of southern. The Lange Farm in Dade City was the perfect spot for our shoot. We gathered an awesome team of vendors to join us, but unfortunately our models got sick the day of the shoot forcing us to rethink our plans. We decided to photograph all of our details, and then find new models to photograph on a separate day. The florist was amazing and generous and agreed to make extra flowers for us to use during our second shoot day. Then there was Sarah & Ben! An amazing couple that just happened to be PERFECT for our shoot, and they were available! They both had the light hearted carefree vibe I was hoping for! After all there polka dotted boots involved! You have to wear a fun smile if you are in polka dotted boots!! Plus they are super awesome photographers too, so they knew their stuff when it came to posing. I am sooooo glad I had the opportunity to spend time with them. I must say I could not have been more excited with how everything turned out! Unfortunately with our little hiccup, we missed summer deadlines last year for getting featured, BUT it was worth the wait because one of my favorite blogs featured us today!
