A couple of weeks ago we had the honor of designing the ceremony area for Sara + Jon's wedding at Lakeside Ranch. This venue is GORGEOUS, and I can not wait to return there for another wedding in March! Sara wanted something with a Boho vibe, but nothing too hippie feeling. The tree she was married under is epic! She wanted to show off the tree, and not distract from it with a large arch. I came up with the idea of hanging a macrame curtain, and macrame plant holders with pretty arrangements. The aisles were decorated with wood stumps which helped pull in the earthy feel, and a collection of other fun and colorful items were displayed on and around the stumps. The ceremony would not have been the same without the gorgeous flowers provided for the macrame and aisle by Andrea Layne Floral Design.
